Investigation Underway Following Citra House Fire

Marion County Fire Rescue and the State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating a fatal residential fire that occurred Monday night in the Citra area.

Emergency crews responded to the scene where one adult victim was discovered inside the home. Officials have not released the victim's identity as investigators continue working to determine the cause of the fire.


Independence Day Celebrations Set Across Marion County

Communities throughout Marion County are preparing for Independence Day celebrations this weekend.

New Photography Exhibit Opens at Appleton Museum
