Food Pantries See Higher Holiday Demand
Local charities and food banks report increased need for Thanksgiving assistance this year, and they’re asking the public for donations of holiday foods and gift cards to support local families.

Overnight I-75 Roadwork Continues
FDOT crews continue overnight maintenance along I-75 near Ocala, including lane resurfacing and guardrail repairs. Drivers should expect temporary lane closures through early December.

Schools Prepare for Holiday Break
Marion County Public Schools will be closed Wednesday through Friday of next week for the Thanksgiving holiday. Classes resume Monday, December 1.
