The Horse That Ocala Police Chased Down SR 200

In case you were wondering what happened to the horse that greeted Officer Bellamy at 4:30 in the morning on March 24th while parked at Ollie's Bargain Outlet to write a report. The horse led officers on a brief chase down the middle of SR 200, and the pursuit ended with officers safely corralling the horse in the parking lot of the College of Central Florida. The Marion County Sheriff's Office Agricultural Unit responded with a trailer to transport the horse to more suitable pastures. Apparently the unnamed owner of the beautiful stallion has come forward to claim the delinquent horse and take him back home. Hopefully with a stronger fence this time. #HorseCapitalOfTheWorld #OcalaPD
