Live Video On FB of Crash Sending 15 People To The Hospital
A new dashcam video has been uploaded to Facebook showing the Nov 28th crash that involved a pickup truck and a bus filled with adults with special needs that hit an ambulance while it went through an intersection with its lights and sirens on.
The video showed that with the impact of both vehicles simultaneously hitting the ambulance it went airborne and landed on the sidewalk.
The owner of the dashcam video that captured the accident said that the ambulance landed a mere foot from where he was stopped. Fifteen of the accident victims were taken to the hospital with minor injuries or for monitoring including 2 MCFR firefighters, 11 special needs adult students, the bus driver, and the pickup truck driver. Eight students were transported just as a precaution, and three sustained minor injuries. The MCFR firefighters also had minor injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. MCFR reminds citizens to yield to emergency vehicles.
