15 Million In Homes, Gone!
In a significant urban development project, approximately 30 homes lining the once-quaint SW 49th Ave are facing imminent demolition to make way for a much-needed expansion. This ambitious initiative aims to widen the road by adding extra lanes on each side, as well as the inclusion of a much-awaited sidewalk. While this expansion promises improved traffic flow and enhanced safety for pedestrians, it comes at a cost for the residents of these soon-to-be-demolished homes. Families who have called this neighborhood their own for years are now forced to bid farewell to their cherished abodes, marking a bittersweet chapter in the community's history as progress reshapes the familiar streetscape.
