Exciting news for the College of Central Florida as they embark on a significant development project. A generous allocation of over $13.5 million is earmarked for the construction of CF's new Health Science Technology Education Building, a much-anticipated addition to the Ocala campus. With plans set in motion, construction is slated to commence in the middle of the upcoming year. Anticipating prompt completion, the project aims to wrap up in time for the Fall semester of 2024. College administrators stress the necessity of this expansion to meet the burgeoning workforce demand in the ever-growing north-central Florida region. This endeavor represents a crucial step forward in enhancing educational facilities and resources to benefit both students and the local community.
