Clothing Swap at Citizen Circle

On August 4th (4-9 pm), a group of friends is coming together to host the Ocala Clothing Swap at Citizen Circle in downtown Ocala, Florida. This event is entirely free and open to the public. As friends, they recognized the rising costs of living, as well as the essential need for clothing. Additionally, Ocala Clothing Swap was inspired as a response to the overwhelming environmental impact of the modern clothing industry. Their mission is to foster community connection while also reducing strain on the wallet and environment.

The rules are simple:

1] bring gently used clothing, washed and folded (not required)

2] pick out new-to-you clothing provided by your community.

This clothing swap is perfectly timed for Back-to-School shopping, so when browsing your home’s closets for items to bring, emphasize school-appropriate options for students, teachers, and staff.

And it's not just clothing:

* Live music

* DIY clothing workshops

* Kid’s crafts

* Pop-up Fashion Shows
